QUARRY OPPORTUNITY, A MOUNTAIN OF ROCK!

Our Vendor bought this property eight years ago for the timber and didn't realise what else he had, until representatives from the Quarry industry approached him and asked him to sell. Laboratory tests in 2016 and 2018 have identified the rock as Siliceous Meta-Greywacke Metamorphic Rock regarded as possessing exceptional hardness, extremely high strength and offering durability in service. Ideal for a range of aggregate applications for roading and including concrete.

The Vendor has had estimates of 21,000,000 or more Tonnes of the rock to be quarried, it could well be a lot more. Obviously before any extraction can take place the appropriate D.A.s and approvals with Council would need to be put in place by the successful new owner. With the amount of planned new construction in the Coffs Harbour and Mid North Coast it would be expected that the property would be considered a very valuable resource in the area.

Substantial infrastructure has been created on the property by way of 4wd tracks and cleared areas allowing most of the property to be accessed. There is also plenty of high-quality natural water on the property and a three-bedroom dwelling plus a shed. We are not attaching a lot of significance to the buildings; they can be considered a bonus. We are expecting that offers would be based on a price per tonne and expectations would be in excess of $12,000,000.00
